Keira Knightley is beautiful in Joe Wright’s adaptation of Tolstoy’s Anna
Karenina.
And a good thing Wright avoided the trap of trying to
retell the story within a realistic setting. I for one loved the experimental
approach of using the run – down theater as the frame wherein the movie develops.
